An Omnidirectional Antenna with Multi-taper Conformal Structure

In this paper, a wideband quadrangular pyramid conformal printed dipole antenna is designed, manufactured, and tested. The proposed comprises four dipoles pointing in different directions pairs of parasitic patches. Each pair patches are placed on one side the pyramid. simulated impedance bandwidth exceeds 26% (S11 ≤ −10 dB), with taper varied from 0∘ to 20∘. Omnidirectional radiation characteristics can be realized within working bandwidth. prototype 10∘ fabricated measured. Moreover, results show that operating frequency band 2.28-3.58 GHz S-band. size 35 × mm2. conclusion simulation test antennas highly consistent.
